Lake Norman

Lake Norman is a man-made lake with over 500 miles of shoreline. It is home to many water activities such as boating, fishing, wakeboarding, swimming and canoeing.

Three central towns in Mecklenburg county are aligned against it’s shores: Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville.  These towns offer small town atmospheres, but with the conveniences of upscale shopping, golfing, the Arts and fine dining. Spend a day golfing at either of the areas five golf courses, or take in a movie or shop at Birkdale Village or even picnic lakeside at either of the areas lakefront parks.
